Emily is an Iowa boomerang, happily returning to her home state after living in Minneapolis, Chicago and Boston. She's intrinsically fascinated by chefs and food/beverage producers, leading to a specialty in marketing and PR for edible brands. She's a DIY junkie with no consideration for lack of training and has had a camera permanently attached to her hand since the fourth grade.
As the Brand Strategist at Sculpt, Emily has developed content and social media strategies for clients like Allsteel, MetaCommunications, Shive-Hattery, NewPi Co-cop, and AOL-founder Steve Case. Her areas of expertise include brand story development, content strategy, organic social media marketing, customer experience consulting, public relations, and community management.
Previously, Emily was an Account Director at a Boston-based agency, overseeing the day-to-day marketing and PR activity for consumer products clients such as Pretzel Crisps. Previous to that, Emily was the Senior Associate at global agency in Minneapolis, working with lifestyle and consumer brands such as PGA of America, General Mills, Caribou Coffee, and more.
Her free time is spent chasing around her toddler, or in her kitchen, attempting to create her own infused vodka.
