Laura, a Maryland native, spent time on both coasts before settling in the middle of the country. She quickly learned Midwest is best. Wherever she is, she is passionate about building community and understanding the stories that shape those communities. With an MBA in marketing and countless years at a creative ad agency, she uses brand stories to effectively engage audiences across social and digital platforms.
As the Director of Client Engagement at Sculpt, Laura has developed social media awareness strategies for clients like MidWestOne, West Music, and Mount Mercy University.
Previously, Laura built social media strategies for a portfolio of national and regional-based clients as the Social Media Strategist at a Madison-based agency. Her industry experience has included social media marketing for CPG brands, health care organizations, ingredient brands, nonprofits and specialty foods—helping them with content, paid social media advertising, social customer service, influencer marketing, promotions and giveaways, and community management.
Laura's social media client list has included Black + Decker Home, George Foreman grills, HoMedics, Jam Audio, Roth Cheese, and numerous healthcare brands.
Outside of Sculpt you can find Laura hiking the mountains of Iowa (ok, maybe hills), vermicomposting and enjoying a drink at Big Grove while her toddler “plays” ping pong.
