Why ‘Sculpt?’

Naming a company is no easy task.

While it sounds trivial, it’s binding. Instantly embedding itself into the company’s DNA.

Do we go with a made up word? Nah, too confusing. A noun? Not descriptive enough. Adjective? Too descriptive. A Latin derivative? Those sound cool. Oh wait, we’re not Latin. There was no manual for making this decision.

After much consideration, we decided upon ‘Sculpt.’

A verb.

“To form or shape.”

We loved it. This is what we do. We identify flaws in social presences, and sculpt them into flaw-free. All with the goal of creating a space where brands can communicate with their fans to better meet needs, and subsequently increase revenues.

We bounced around other names. ‘Lift’, ‘Revere’, ‘Symphony’, to name a few. But like that semi-decent kid in gym class, that over evaluates his own talents, Sculpt kept begging us to be picked.

And eventually, it was.

Now we proudly claim, We Are Sculpt.
